Introduction

The Grimsby Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its four divisions.

The league is affiliated to the Lincolnshire Football Association and is a Charter Standard League. This means that it meets the required standards set by the Football Association.

The league is open to all players aged 16 and over. There are no trials or fees required to join.

The season runs from September to May, with each team playing 22 games. The top two teams in each division are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

The league also has a cup competition, the Terry Hanley Memorial Cup. The cup is named after Terry Hanley, a former player and chairman of the league.
