Gateshead Youth League

The Gateshead Youth League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-18 in the Gateshead area. It was founded in 1966 and currently has over 1,000 players registered.

Competitions

• The league runs a number of competitions throughout the season, including a league cup, a league cup knockout, and a league shield.
• The league also runs a number of development competitions for younger players, such as the Under-7s development league and the Under-8s development cup.

The league plays its matches at a variety of venues in the Gateshead area, including:

• Cleadon Park
• Felling Recreation Ground
• Redheugh Sports Complex
• Whickham Fellside Playing Fields
