About Fareham And Gosport League
Read more →The Gosport and Fareham League is an amateur Sunday football league based in Gosport, Hampshire, England. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the Gosport and Fareham League and the Solent Football League. The league currently has 31 teams from 26 clubs divided into three divisions.
The Gosport and Fareham League can trace its roots back to 1904, when the Gosport District League was founded. The league was renamed the Gosport and Fareham League in 1922. The Solent Football League was formed in 1987 from clubs of the Friendly League that started in 1971.
The two leagues merged in 2013 to form the Gosport and Fareham and Solent Football League. The league's headquarters are at Privett Park in Gosport.
