The FA Women's National League (WNL) is a group of six football divisions in England. It is the third and fourth tier of the women's football pyramid, below the FA Women's Super League and the Women's Championship.
The WNL was founded in 1991 as the WFA National League. It was renamed the FA Women's Premier League in 1997. In 2014, the league was restructured and renamed the FA Women's National League.
The WNL has been won by a variety of clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Reading.
The current season of the WNL began on August 20, 2023. The Northern Premier Division is currently being led by Newcastle United, while the Southern Premier Division is being led by Lewes.
The top two teams from each division of the WNL are promoted to the Women's Championship. The bottom two teams from each division of the WNL are relegated to regional leagues.
