FA Girls' England Talent Pathway

The FA Girls' England Talent Pathway (ETP) is a national football development programme for girls aged 11-19 years old. It is designed to identify and develop talented players who have the potential to represent England at senior level.

The ETP is divided into three levels:

• Regional Talent Club (RTC): This is the entry level of the ETP. RTCs are located across England and provide players with the opportunity to train and play against other talented players.
• Regional Talent Centre (RTC): RTCs are for the most talented players in each region. They provide players with additional training and support, and the opportunity to play in national competitions.
• England Women's Development Squad (WDS): The WDS is the highest level of the ETP. It is for the very best players in England and provides them with the opportunity to train and play against the best players in the world.

The ETP is open to all girls, regardless of their background or ability. Players are selected for the ETP based on their talent, potential and commitment.

The ETP is funded by the Football Association (FA) and is delivered by a network of coaches and staff. The FA has a team of five Talent Technical Coaches whose job it is to develop strategic and creative ideas to help find and develop players regardless of their playing environment.

The ETP is an important part of the FA's strategy to develop the women's game in England. The FA believes that the ETP will help to identify and develop the next generation of England Lionesses.
