Essex FA County Cups

Essex County FA’s 2025–26 competition guidance covered 25 county cups. The programme spans boys’ and girls’ youth football from Under-12 to Under-18, open-age men’s and women’s football, and men’s veterans sections. The precise cups available to a team depend on its age group, gender and competition status.

For clubs and players

The county cups provide a shared competition route for teams that normally play in different local leagues. Current FA Full-Time club records include youth sides from Billericay, Chelmsford and Upminster, as well as open-age and veterans teams. These examples indicate the breadth of the programme, not a complete participant list.

Players should join an appropriate affiliated local club to take part. Clubs should consult Essex County FA’s current competition information for eligibility and entry arrangements, which are set separately for each season.
