The Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League is an amateur football league in England. It covers the county of Derbyshire and consists of two adult divisions sitting at levels 7 and 8 of the women's football pyramid system, as well as girls' youth divisions from ages under-8 to under-18.

History

The league was founded in 1964 and is one of the oldest women's football leagues in England. It has grown significantly over the years and currently has over 100 teams participating.

League Structure

The league is divided into two adult divisions: the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division is at level 7 of the women's football pyramid system, while the First Division is at level 8. The youth divisions are divided into age groups from under-8 to under-18.

Promotion and Relegation

The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the East Midlands Regional Women's Football League Division One, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the First Division. The top two teams in the First Division are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Second Division.
