About Community Partnership League

Introduction

The Community Partnership League (CPL) is an amateur football league based in Bolton, Wigan, and Bury in Lancashire, England. It was founded in 2019 with the goal of providing a fun and inclusive football experience for players of all ages and abilities.

The CPL currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from under-7s to under-18s. The league also offers a Sunday league for adults.

The CPL is affiliated with the Football Association (FA) and adheres to its rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules and regulations, which are designed to ensure that all players have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Structure

The CPL is divided into three divisions: the Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. The Premier Division is the top division, followed by Division One and Division Two.

The teams in each division play each other home and away, with the top teams at the end of the season promoted to the next division and the bottom teams relegated to the previous division.

The CPL also has a cup competition, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, with the winners of the cup being crowned CPL champions.
