Introduction
The Colchester & District Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Colchester, Essex. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its various divisions.
The league is divided into four divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The Premier Division is the top division, and the Division Three is the bottom division.
The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once in the regular season. The top teams in each division qualify for the play-offs, with the winners of the play-offs being promoted to the next higher division.
The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the FA Sunday Cup, the Essex Sunday Premier Cup, and the Colchester & District Sunday Cup.
