History

The Chessington And District League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just five teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 21 teams competing in three divisions.

The league has been home to some famous players over the years, including former England internationals Martin Peters and Ray Wilkins. Peters played for Chessington United in the 1960s, while Wilkins played for Chessington & Hook United in the 1970s.

Current Season

The current season of the Chessington And District League started in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in May 2023. The league is currently being led by Chessington United in Division One, with Chessington & Hook United in second place. In Division Two, the leaders are Chessington Athletic, followed by Chessington Lions in second place.
