The Central Warwickshire Girls Football League (CWGFL) is an amateur football league for girls and women in the Central Warwickshire area of England. It is affiliated to the Birmingham County FA.
The CWGFL was founded in 2009. It started with just a few teams, but has grown steadily over the years. In the 2022-23 season, the league has over 300 teams, from Under 8s to Under 18s.
The CWGFL is divided into several divisions, based on the age of the players. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division 1, Division 2, and so on. There are also cup competitions for each age group.
There are over 70 clubs affiliated to the CWGFL, with teams from all over the Central Warwickshire area. Some of the most successful clubs in the league include Coventry City Girls, Leamington Town Girls, and Nuneaton Town Girls.
The CWGFL recently announced that it will be expanding to include a new division for Under 16s teams. The new division will start in the 2023-24 season.
