About Central Ayrshire Youth Football League
Introduction
The Central Ayrshire Youth Football League (CAYFL) is a football league for youth teams in Central Ayrshire, Scotland. It was founded in 1975 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its various leagues. The CAYFL is affiliated to the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA).
League Structure
The CAYFL operates a number of leagues for different age groups, from Under-7s to Under-19s. The leagues are divided into divisions, with promotion and relegation between divisions at the end of each season.
- Under-7s: Four-a-side football
- Under-8s to Under-11s: Seven-a-side football
- Under-12s to Under-16s: Eleven-a-side football
- Under-17s to Under-19s: Eleven-a-side football
Cup Competitions
The CAYFL also runs a number of cup competitions for different age groups. These include the following:

- The Central Ayrshire Challenge Cup
- The Central Ayrshire League Cup
