About Cambridgeshire County League

Introduction

The Cambridgeshire County League is an amateur football league covering Cambridgeshire and western parts of Suffolk, Norfolk and northwestern parts of Essex in England. It is currently styled as the Cambridge Stove Installations Cambridgeshire County League for sponsorship purposes.

History

The league was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest county leagues in England. The current champions are West Wratting FC First (Premier Division) (2022-23).

Structure

The league is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Senior A Division and Senior B Division. There are also a number of cup competitions, including the Kershaw Premier Cup, the Senior A Cup and the Senior B Cup.

Teams

There are currently 181 teams in the league, including both men's and women's teams. Some of the most famous teams in the league include Cambridge City, Ely City and Histon.
