Introduction

The Bolton Sunday League is an amateur football league in Bolton, England. It is a member of the Bolton, Bury and District Football League.

History

The Bolton Sunday League was founded in 1921. The original competition consisted of 10 teams. The league has grown steadily over the years and currently consists of over 100 teams.

Divisions

The Bolton Sunday League is divided into 5 divisions:

• Division Two
• Division Three
• Division Four
• Division Five

Format

The Bolton Sunday League is a league competition. Each team plays each other team once, home and away. The top team at the end of the season is promoted to the next division. The bottom team in each division is relegated to the next lower division.
