The Bexley Amateur Football League is a football league in the London Borough of Bexley, England. It was founded in 1927 and currently has 30 teams competing in three divisions. The league is affiliated to the Kent County Football Association.

History

The Bexley Amateur Football League was founded in 1927 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw 12 teams compete in a single division. The league expanded to two divisions in 1930 and three divisions in 1960.

The league has been affiliated to the Kent County Football Association since its inception. The KCFA is responsible for overseeing the administration of amateur football in Kent.

Current Structure

The Bexley Amateur Football League currently has 30 teams competing in three divisions:

  • Division One
  • Division Two
  • Division Three

The top two teams in Division One at the end of the season are promoted to the Kent League. The bottom two teams in Division One are relegated to Division Two. The top two teams in Division Two are promoted to Division One. The bottom two teams in Division Two are relegated to Division Three.
