Belfast&east Antrim Youth League

The Belfast&east Antrim Youth League (B&EAYL) is an amateur football league for youth teams in Belfast and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is affiliated to the County Antrim & District Football Association (CADFAFA).

History

The B&EAYL was founded in 1965. The original aim of the league was to provide a competitive environment for youth teams in the area. The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams participating.

Format

The B&EAYL is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age of the players. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the First Division, Second Division, and so on. Each division has a promotion and relegation system.

The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other team in their division once. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs, with the winners being promoted to the next division.
