The Ashford Veterans League is a 7-a-side football league for players over the age of 35. The league was founded in 2022 and is affiliated with the Kent FA. The league currently has 10 teams competing in a single division.

History

The Ashford Veterans League was founded in 2022 by a group of local football enthusiasts who wanted to create a league for players who were no longer able to play at the same level as they did when they were younger. The league has grown steadily since its inception and now has 10 teams competing in a single division.

Rules

The league is open to players over the age of 35.
Each team must have a minimum of five players over the age of 40.
The game is played on a 7-a-side pitch with a size of 60x30 yards.
The game is played with a size 5 football.
The duration of each game is 2 x 25 minutes.
