Stanley Soccer League

The Stanley Soccer League is a 7-a-side amateur football league based in Accrington, Lancashire, England. It was founded in 2011 by the Accrington Stanley Community Trust.

League Structure

The league has three divisions: Premier League, Championship, and League One. Each division consists of 6 teams. The top two teams from each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

Matches are played on Monday nights at various venues in Accrington. Kick-off times are usually around 7pm.

Rules and Regulations

The league is affiliated to the Lancashire FA and all matches are played under their rules and regulations. Some of the key rules include:

• All players must be over the age of 16.
• Shin guards must be worn at all times.
• Each team must provide a match ball.
• Complaints must be made in writing to the league secretary.

Cost

The cost of entering the league is £28 per team per season. This includes the cost of refereeing, league administration, and prizes.
