About Army Football League Womens Corps

Introduction

The Army Football League Womens Corps (AFLWC) is an amateur football league for women serving in the British Army. It was founded in 2019 and currently consists of 10 teams representing different army corps.

The AWFLC is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and follows the FA's rules and regulations. The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams at the end of the season qualify for the Edwards Cup, the AWFLC's premier knockout competition.

The AWFLC is a great way for women in the Army to stay active and enjoy the sport of football. It also provides an opportunity for women to represent their corps and compete against other army teams.
