About Amateur Football Combination

Amateur Football Combination

The Amateur Football Combination (AFC) is a football league based in and around London and the Home Counties, and is believed to be the biggest adult football league in Europe.

It was founded in 1921 and currently has around 75 clubs and 200 teams playing Saturday afternoons from September through to May. The AFC comprises more than 1% of adult male 11-a-side football teams in England.

Divisions

The AFC is divided into 19 divisions, ranging from the Premier Division at the top to the Minor Divisions at the bottom. The Premier Division is currently sponsored by adidas, and the champions for the 2022-23 season were Dorkinians.

Cups

The AFC also runs a number of cups, including the LOB Challenge Cup, the LOB Intermediate Cup, and the LOB Junior Cups.
