The Alliance League is an amateur football league in England for clubs based in Essex and north-eastern Greater London. It is currently in the 11th tier of the English football league system.
The league was founded in 1921 and has a total of 76 clubs. The top four clubs in the Premier Division are promoted to the Eastern Counties Football League Division One South, while the bottom four clubs in each division are relegated to the next level down.
The current champions are Sporting Dynamo FC, who won the Premier Division in the 2022-23 season.
The Alliance League was founded in 1921 as the Essex and District Football League. It was renamed the Essex Alliance Football League in 1986.
The league has been won by a number of clubs over the years, including Leyton Orient, Dagenham & Redbridge, and Southend United.
The Alliance League is divided into six divisions: Premier Division, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Division 5.
The Premier Division has 16 clubs, while the other divisions have 14 clubs each.
The season runs from August to May, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away.
