It was a frustrating start to the game for WFC who struggled to get a hold of the ball for the first few minutes of the game, with the opposition enjoying a lot of possession up until taking a deserved lead from a good team move. After the this point the opposition seemed to switch off and allow WFC back in it. Connor steered the bowl into the bottom corner brilliantly after a good ball across by Bunn 1-1 game on. WFC then started to dominate the chances in the game with some good team passing. But it was the opposition who regained the lead, but it didn't take WFC long to respond with a really simple goal, from keeper Alf into Ed in the middle of the park, to Connor up top and another great finish, 2-2. Then came the major controversial decision in the game with Ed losing the ball on the half way line having arguably been fouled in the process, then pulled back the player running in on goal and was sin binned/yellow carded after a very similar incident in the first half went unpunished for the opposition earlier. The opposition then went on to score while Ed was off the pitch and WFC barely threatened an equaliser after that. Missed chances was the main reason WFC lost the game but the team deserved at least a draw after a good display. 3 defeats in 4 games this season does not reflect the teams performance.
