Wreckingham Start Well But Fall Away 2nd Half

WFC were missing Connor through injury, and continue to be without Billy who is doing a Tevez and has run off somewhere. Throughout the whole game the opposition were the dominant side, the amount of possession, passes completed and chances made was a non comparison. But in the first quarter of the match it was WFC who were in charge after taking a 2-0 goal lead with Bunn finishing two chances after the defence had held firm and been effective on the break with Josh and Ed supporting. The opposition then pulled a goal back but WFC restored the 2 goal lead when Josh put the ball in the net after a bit of a scramble. Unfortunately WFC couldn't hold the 2 goal lead at HT with another goal conceded it was 3-2 at HT. The 2nd half didn't go to plan with players tiring WFC became more and more penned in their own defensive third with no options but to go long for Bunn to challenge 2 or 3 defenders. 4 goals came in pretty quick succesion for the opposition to make it 6-3, WFC then found a burst of energy from Ed who made it 6-4. After this trying to get back in the game WFC shipped 3 more goals to leave it 9-4. A few of the goals were lucky rebounds and deflections so the score was a tad harsh on WFC who played well. Throughout Jay pulled off some great saves and Jack, Alf, Josh and Ed put in some fantastic blocks and tackles to prevent goals, Bunn worked hard in a tough role up front.
