Ryan's Rhinos 1 - 2 Woodman Inn FC

Apologies for the short report this week. The reporter forgot his notepad and pencil. The Woodman Inn traveled to play Ryan's Rhinos this week for a 10:30 kick off.

A strong starting 11 kicked off the game very strongly. The first half an hour, the Woodman Inn had many attacks and attempts at goal with nothing really cut throat or worrying their keeper too much. This was until Dan 'Beckham', took a free kick which forced a save from the Rhino's keeper. The Rhino's number one tipped the ball on to the frame of the goal which fell to Shaun 'Shearer's' head, which went into the goal. 0-1 Woodman with 42 minutes played.

Half Time

Again the Woodman started brightly out of the blocks the second half. The Woodman Inn double their lead in the 55 minute. Tom got brought down within the penalty area by a late tackle. Tom dusted himself down and scored the penalty to make it 0-2.

Ryan's Rhinos pulled one back in the 80th minute by a low cross which Woodman's right back Ross unfortunately tapped the ball into his own net, totally wrong footing Harry in goal. 1-2.

Ryan's Rhinos had probably 3 more chances to draw the game but if it wasn't for Harry and his amazing one on one save, the points would of be shared.

Good result for the Woodman Inn after the last few weeks. Hopefully this will be the start for the club to kick on and head the season on a high.
