Woodman Inn FC vs Jacks Bar FC
Jacks bar started the game better, and where 1-0 up within the first 10 minutes. A cross whipped in from the right was nicely met and put away. Woodman Inn then started to have the better of the game with a string of corners. One was eventually met by a gallivanting Adam Loftus who slotted home with the coolness of a Coors Light. The game stretched and a clumsy Connor Clifton challenge in the box, duly lead to a penalty. The penalty was met by the hand of Harry Ellis but was not enough to keep it out. Just before the half time whistle was due to sound a clumsy challenge through the back of Matthew Corbett was not received with the same outcome.

The second half started with the same intensity and neither side could find a clear cut chance. Curtis Smith came close shortly after coming off the bench as a speculative effort on the turn just went over. Within the last ten minutes Jacks Bar went close as a ball across the six yard box was met but the effort was sent over the bar. Woodman threw everything forward in need of a last gasp chance. With a minute on the clock a Conor Clifton throw was chested down by Curtis Smith and met with a flailing Craig Mitchell left foot as it flew into the top right corner of the net taking the game to extra time.

Both sides continued to push for the winner throwing everything at it. Players were now struggling with the extra exercise so shortly after the Christmas period. It was only a Jacks Bar break that could seal the deadlock on 101 minutes, avoiding the pressure of penalties. Jacks Bar go through to the next round.
