Match Report Vs SKFC Reds U9s ??

Lots to learn from yesterday’s game against a very good opposition. SKFC started on the front foot and looked very sharp doing all the things we did last week with and we did the opposite. This helped them get an early 3-0 lead.

Towards the end of the first half we looked more confident in spells and started to get into the game, moving the ball around nicely just like we showed in our performance last week. We finally found some success and Kole managed to put the ball into the SKFC net reducing the deficit to 4-1.

I thought this is where we had our best period in the game looking like we might get ourselves back into it and start competing with our opponents. With us scoring another that was disallowed due to the ball going out of play in a very nice build up. ??

After half time SKFC again took the game straight to us and managed to destroy any hope of us getting something out of the game with a quick goal making it 5-1.

SKFC managed to maintain/up their performance throughout the second half looking very lively and playing some really good football, and taking their chances, seeing the game out victorious. ??

Ultimately I feel we just had one of them days, unfortunately against a very good side. However this is all part of the process and will help us have more accuracy in specific areas with our coaching towards the group and individuals. ??

POTM - Poppy + Seth ????

Me and Jayden decided to award a dual POTM for yesterdays game. We felt that Poppy and Seth both brought lots of energy to yesterday’s game, both players wanted to get on the ball, get forward and give us some momentum. Well done ??

Thanks Brad and Jayden ????
