Match Report Vs Macclesfield Select

Another great game on Sunday with a massive bonus securing another win. Massive credit to everyone as I thought we cruised through the game and then dealt with the final 5 minutes of pressure (instructions being just keep the ball out of our half??) excellently after conceding 2 back to back goals.

Before the game we spoke to everyone about the importance of trying what we have been working on in training over the last few weeks (movement to receive the ball) as this was mine and Jayden’s main focus on what we wanted to see.

I think throughout there was a slight improvement in our decision making relating to our movement and how we look to move the ball which is nice to see and definitely a step in the right direction for us as a team.??

Goals were all fantastic again. Oscar grabbing one after using his blistering pace, Seth using some more individual skill, Jacob D well taken finish after a great first touch, and a Own Goal that we gave to Jacob D after a great delivery into the box.??

With that being said I think Noah deserves a mention for another great performance in goal. Pulling off some more dives for that camera from last week ????

POTM - We awarded this weeks POTM to Oscar after a brilliant display leading from the front causing all sorts of trouble showing his versatility and great attitude that’s been consistent across every game week. Well done Oscar ????
