Today our Winchburgh Albion 2015 boys, led by our Capitan Cullen, played a tough match against a strong Linlithgow Rose Inter squad.
We started the match strong, scoring a goal within the first few minutes, one of three goals netted by Noah with fantastic assists from Aaron, Michael, and Marco. Noah’s hard work and goals earned him MoM for this week.
Despite being down one substitute, our boys showed incredible resilience, pressing forward and closing down the opposition's constant attacks. Michael, Caelen and Kai worked tirelessly to disrupt their play, while Jenson led the defense admirably under persistent pressure from their strong attackers.
Cullen was outstanding in goal, making multiple crucial saves that kept us in the game.
Aaron, Caleb, and Marco put in a tremendous effort, working hard to create goal-scoring opportunities. Although the midfield battle was intense and a few missed placed passes led to chances for Linlithgow, our team fought bravely throughout.
The boys should hold their heads high as it was a challenging match, and we were competitive the entire time.
We return to training on Monday with our focus firmly on the next match.
