Wigmore playing the favourites for the title, a team they lost too 3-1 only a few weeks ago, the mood at training was worrisome for the managers as confidence had left the squad.
On matchday it was no different, a lacklustre warm up, players focusing on their opponents, very little leadership or desire was on display and that was all before kick off.
As soon as the whistle blew there was a huge concern on the sideline, players not communicating, not working hard and air of apprehension throughout the team.
Wigmore were 2 - 0 down inside 10 minutes, the Wigmore players were shrinking violets, a goal out of nothing halved the deficit but Caspian Tigers soon restored their two goal lead and things went from bad to worse when Tigers scored again to make 4-1.
Now a lot of players and supporters thought that this could end up a cricket score, Wigmore out played, out muscled but yet this game felt it was far from over, if only the boys believed in themselves from the start then this could of been a very different game.
It is still not known what happened but after 30 minutes of timid football Wigmore started to believe.
4-1 became 4-2 and that in turn became 4-3, Wigmore with their tails up wanted to win this game and they believed they could, Tigers had their chances but Wigmore wanted it more, Tigers were trying desperately to see the game out with the scoreline 4-3 and with 15 minutes to go, but yet again Wigmore came forward and after missing several guilt edge chances finally equalised with 5 minutes to play.
A come from behind draw against top opponents felt like a win, but the result could of been very different if Wigmore believed from the start.
