<p>Second away game in a week and we started it more along the lines of how we finished the last. A bit of a blistering start as we found ourselves 3-0 up after 20 minutes or so. Sean Caffrey got his first of the season just minutes in as he ran onto Dom Slaters through ball to finish calmly. Caffrey then doubled his and our tally as he again got in behind to lift over the keeper. A third soon followed when Chris Sheldon was brought down in the area to win a penalty, which was converted by Dom Solman. A few minutes of falling asleep cost us, although nobody was stopping Blyths screamer of a first. The home side hit back with a second minutes later once we failed to clear a free kick which came back off the wall. Liam Donnelly restored a bit of a gap in the scoreline tapping in from close range via a saved shot from hat trick hunting Caffrey.

<p>The second half was managed fairly well, although we came under our fair share of pressure as legs started to tire. We kept the number of conceded at two though thanks to some fantastic saves by Symington, and a touch of luck that seen Blyth strike the post. Donnelly who finished the first half scoring then finished it in the second too, as he crept through the back four and lifted it over the onrushing keeper.

<p>Our first away win giving us our first 3 points of the season, along with setting our benchmark in terms of performances. A great team shift which we'll be looking to replicate and build on come Cramlington away on Wednesday night.
