Vtoons Secure 2-0 Victory Over Evergreen

Vtoons Football Club hosted Evergreen FC at Uyo on 7 November 2025, with kick-off at 2:00pm, in a tightly contested 11-a-side encounter. The first half saw Evergreen FA with a chance to go ahead in the game but Marvelous of Vtoons Fc stepped up to make a fine stop. Vtoons’ defensive organisation and midfield control were evident, limiting Evergreen’s opportunities to threaten the goal. As the game went on Vtoons found their rhythm and began to attack aggressively with Evergreen defenders clearing any ball that was a threat. Later on in the game Kasa sent a ball forward which Evergreen defender missed it but Anietie was too quick to get to it and found himself one on one with the keeper, his cool composure and finish earned him a goal which was the second goal of the match. After much heated encounter the referee ended the match in the 94th minute. This win means Vtoons Fc progresses to the semi finals of Blazers tournament 2025.
