Rioz Romping

A big away game to league leaders rioz, we turned up on a very wet Sunday to get the 3 points , buzzing from the week before with our draw against Hove f.c.

Started solid , with us knocking the ball around the perfect pitch was 3g and not the bobble of sompting, we were knocking it around them like we were favourites to win the league, and boom out of nothing we get a pen from the silky Shane legget, with great footwork making the defender jump in and take him down... Shane himself stood up and took the pen which he converted with precision.

We carried on for another 10 and playing well but rioz got in the game by settling down and knocking it around us, their main man up top was their main threat and made things work and we did not work this out till it was to late...

They got their equaliser and got stronger and stronger and by halftime they got their second.

We come in to half time still happy with our performance and buzzing to get back out there with belief we could get back in the game.....

Well, that wasn't the case, basically stood there like scarecrows , hoping the next player would do their work for them, as much composure as a virgin trying to get his end away, touches like baby elephants on the ball...

The only voices I could hear were the ones in my head telling me to drive back to beachy head and jump...

It was literally the worst performance performance we have had.

There mauled us worse than Jeffery Dahmer did his victims... I wish I was one of them it would of been more pleasure ....

In the end we settled for about 55 seconds and knocked it around , James lower popped up with a right foot cross and smithy pounced and tapped in from 6 yards.... After that ...it's not worth reporting ...they battered us....

Onwards and upwards for next week against the stone cross royals
