Ah boys....
What a satisfying victory that was yesterday. Take into account all the circumstances, players in goal etc. To still find a way to get through, in style might I add, was so pleasing.
Some of the goals scored were outstanding, my favourite being the Deeney moment after they hit the crossbar and Teddy finishing! I also enjoyed your goal Carter rounding the gk in a pressurised moment.
All in all, I thought it was a good performance boys. In possession we moved it really well at times and Sidney I thought you were linking it brilliantly for us. Jude and Avery I thought you were both so comfortable in possession of the ball and was finding forward passes really well.
Out of possession I thought we were very messy at times. They were all over place shape wise but I felt we could've dealt with it much better. Oscar, Avery and Jude, we must make sure players aren't hanging around behind us. We also need to get on top of when one of us is stepping in (with or without the ball) the other must be coming round and providing cover. Constantly yesterday this wasn't happening. We will work on this on Saturday.
Wingers, we must make sure we're doing the work back. It's a tough position and you must be able to get up and down, especially at your age. Teddy, I thought you were outstanding at this.
Boys, it's a very good win, and positive performance BUT let's look to up this against what I predict will be a tough opposition on Sunday v EDC
Teddy and Avery, I thought you both were stand out performers for me.
