Good Morning Boys,
What a fantastic way to send off before Christmas!
It was nice to see us banging in goals again and expressing ourselves.
The opposition aren't on our level but that is exactly how you deal with them teams. We moved it well and had some excellent individual moments.
In the first quarter I thought we started sharp! We were ruthless in front of goal and killed the opposition in the first 6 minutes bring 6-0 up. This is something I want us to make a habit of doing. Arsenal are fantastic at this, they start games on flames. You can really hurt teams doing this.
At the break of the first I set you boys the challenge of 3 passes before we can score. I thought we nailed this, Sid and Tate I thought you were really bright doing so. It was good to see us using our pivot and going out the other side.
In the 3rd quarter boys I thought we got a little messy. I thought we started to dribble and wanted to do everything ourselves and lost our quality in our passing. This allowed the opposition to get a couple goals back. This is normal when you're so far ahead boys but I want us to work on being able to keep our standards no matter the score.
The fourth I saw some wonderful things. Sidney I thought your 360 goal was excellent but your header from an incredible ball from Brooks was a joy to watch. Jax I thought you had your best game for a few weeks. You looked really dangerous again! Brooks it was great to see you beating players with intention again and getting shots off! Jude what a strike on your right foot and some other fantastic goals. Tate I thought you were brilliant out of possession but also played some really clever passes. I also felt you kept the ball well.
