Good Morning Boys,
Hope we all enjoyed the rest of our Sundays?
I thought yesterday was a really positive performance after the half-term break. I thought we started the game brilliantly and straight away took control even after going a goal down.
It was great to see our fast response from that with Cole getting his first Unique FC goal!!
It was fantastic to see us trying to do our playing out rotation and it worked excellently in the first 1st quarter. I thought we found it harder later in the game as the timings were a little off. But this was expected as we didn't have all at training and we've only worked on it once.
I thought we moved the ball well throughout but were still a little reluctant to turn out and use our pivot to keep the ball. But I was really pleased with how brave we were in possession and dominated our 1v1 battles.
Out of possession, I was really happy with yesterdays performance. We done exactly what was asked of us and I thought we were aggressive with how we shut down and put Forestdale under real pressure.
Lastly, I set you the target to play with the intensity, specifically when the ball goes off of the pitch. I thought we nailed this, we kept to the 3 seconds and actually scored from starting quick and catching them off guard. Again, this is something I want us to continue ion how we play.
Tate I thought you were outstanding yesterday throughout, Brooks I thought you also had some really nice moments in the game.
Really good performance boys as we go into an exciting week of our showcase game against Palace and our first Cup game against Tecnica!
