Match Report V Coney Hall

Good Morning All,

Hope we all enjoyed the Amorim Masterclass yesterday :)

Boys, what a good performance yesterday was from us. There were so many aspects I was so happy with. I thought we were individually better but I also felt we looked really drilled.

Forget the result last week, that is now 2 exceptional performance in a row which is tough to do at your age.

We spoke on before the game about dominating our individual battles and winning our tackles. I thought we were fantastic at this. We continued to come out with the ball majority of tackles.

I was so proud of how we played out and the braveness we showed. Just on this, I want us to be more forward thinking when playing out/building from the back. When we have time on the ball, I want to see us going forwards more with quality instead of inviting the pressure on us and keep going backwards/sideways.

Our whole intensity yesterday is exactly what we expect of a Unique team and it's no coincidence. You all have been fantastic with your attendance at team training and Futsal and putting in, so well done to you all.

I thought we pressed really well and Jude nicked a goal from doing this so well. I want us to make sure on the side of the diamond we don't switch off. We need to be constantly goal side (closer to our goal) when marking and we stay with them until we win possession back.

Boys, really good performance. Jaxton, that was your performance of the season. Well done.

Let's all build on that and attack Balham Ballers this week, which will be a really tough game, starting with Futsal tomorrow
