Realise i didn’t write a match report last night sorry
Tough game yesterday, take of 2 halves is probably the best description.
Really good first half, classy goal from Summer and some really energy and passion shown by the girls to keep the boys held back. Some good movement and passing, great dribbling of the ball and real confidence.
Second half however we lost our game, perhaps too many selection boxes at Christmas and we got tired, or lost a bit of interest, and the boys took full advantage.
However we cannot ignore the classy finish (FINALLY!!) from Isla so score a very confident 1 on 1 goal.
I set the challenge for the girls to get 2 goals in the game and they did exactly that! We just need to find that bit of aggression and confidence in our game to not be bullied by the boys.
I didn’t do man of the match, it was too windy and cold to hang about. The best Belle was Olivia for her very skilful dribbling skills and passing which set up both goals.
First game back after a long break, we will learn from it and only can get better ????
