Match Report - U7 KIRTON LINDSEY (18) - 10 Nov 2018

Great game today girls. Felt we should’ve got more out of that today than just one goal, but what a goal it was from Beth!

2 or 3 times in the first half alone we had them pinned back l, and second half we had at least 7 corners, we just needed that final shot that had worked on in training but just wasn’t meant to be.

First of all Lilly who worked her socks off today, earning best Belle, with her “I just want to play in midfield” rant at the start yet found herself 1 on 1 more times today that the entire season!!

Gritty performance from the defence today, Emily Olivia Alisha and summer having to get physical especially with their number 7 and great saves from pepper, all of them kept the shoreline down and never gave up.

And the work rate of Evelyn Beth and Kara getting up and down the field to help in defence and push the attack was fantastic, the 3 of them never gave up, and rewarded with a superb finish from Beth with the last kick of the game.

Onwards to the next game at app frod!!

Finally comment we need to recognise what these girls are doing. Today I have had another request from a girl wanting to join our team on the back of seeing us play.

The girls have a great reputation and should be very proud of that!! ????
