Trowbridge Town U15s hosted AFC Corsham U15 Jaguars at the North Bradley Peace Memorial Trust Recreation Ground on the morning of 19 October 2025, kicking off at 10:30am in an intense cup clash. The home side emerged victorious with a 3-2 scoreline after 80 minutes of competitive football, securing a narrow but hard-fought win.
Trowbridge Town lined up in a 4-1-4-1 formation, aiming to balance defensive solidity with attacking flair. Harry Millwaters took his place between the sticks as goalkeeper, protected by a back four comprising Josh Bailey at right back, Leon Jones and Jake Wells as central defenders, and Leo Shepherd on the left. Dan Jackman operated as the lone holding midfielder, tasked with breaking up play and distributing the ball efficiently. Ahead of him, the midfield quartet featured Sebastian Balawender on the right wing, Archie Lee-Marin and Alfie Nyarko centrally in attacking midfield roles, and Roman Snow on the left flank. Henri Turner led the line as the sole striker, expected to spearhead attacks and finish chances. On the bench, Roy Mufalo, Ollie Curtis & Ruben Reeves were named as the substitutes.
The match burst into life early on when Henri Turner opened the scoring in the 15th minute. Dan Jackman’s precise pass found Turner, who calmly converted to give Trowbridge Town an early advantage. This goal set the tone for an energetic and open encounter.
Just over halfway through the first half, a tactical change saw Roy Mufalo replace Henri Turner in the 31st minute. Mufalo made an immediate impact by stepping up to convert a penalty, doubling Trowbridge’s lead and demonstrating composure under pressure.

Ten minutes into the second half Rot Muffalo struck again, this time from open play, with an assist from the returning Henri Turner. This goal extended the home side’s lead to 3-0 and appeared to put the match beyond doubt.
AFC Corsham U15 Jaguars respond with determination. They pulled a goal back in the 63rd minute, signalling a potential comeback and injecting fresh urgency into the contest.
With the clock ticking down, the Jaguars found the net once more in the 78th minute, narrowing the deficit to a single goal and setting up a tense finale.
Despite the late pressure from AFC Corsham, Trowbridge Town’s defensive unit held firm, ensuring the three points remained at home. The victory was a testament to their early dominance and resilience under late-game pressure.
