A good finish to pre season for the booth against a decent opposition. Both teams set out to pass the ball from the back on a horrible pitch and it was such tactic that lead to the booth opener after 4 minutes. After keeping possession across the back 4, Fuller sprayed a lovely ball out to MacLeod who beat his man and sent in a superb delivery. ROSS met the cross with aplomb and sent it high into the corner. Man of the match BOOTH then made it 2-0 after a neat one-two with Shand then sending it low to the keepers right. Chapman made a good save later in the half to keep the score at 2-0 and booth went in at the break with a deserved lead.

(2-0)

4 changes at half time meant a slower start to the second half with both teams unable to get a foot on the ball. Booth gradually began to dominate again and Booth nearly scored from 40 yards, with the ball crashing off the bar and into the keeper's gloves. MacLeod also forced the McTeagle keeper into a fine save before BOOTH made it 3. Some neat work from Adam fed the ball to Booth who skipped past 3 defenders and smashed home. It looked as if a deserved clean sheet was on the cards after Ogg cleared off the line from a corner, but a very dubious referee call allowed McTeagle number 7 to colect the ball alone in the box and fire home with a minute to go.

(3-1)
