Webb Crashes As TTC Turn On The Style

<p>The first competitive game of the season saw us up against Webb Help from the mexboro league in the prelim round of the mont cup. With suspensions and summer holidays given the manager little option we had 15 players available for selection. So lining up in this years changed formation of 3-5-2 Jamie was in goal with dosh ian and dukey dropping to make the bk 3 up. Aaron and wayne was the wing bks with shaun jonty and reynolds the midfield 3 Jonni n rougvie was the front 2. A 4 man bench off parkey ollie jack n jake was the managers options.

<p>We set off quick and on the front foot from the outset playing sum good football webb help was struggling to keep up with us. We created a few good chances but was a little wasteful with a few which we need to adress. However we finally took 1 of the chances a great run from joni down the left who cut inside and fired 1 at goal were there lad helped it into the net to give us a well deserved lead. We kept pressing and creating but couldnt improve on our 1 goal lead going into ht.

<p>The half time message was clear keep playing the way we are but we must take our chances to kill game.

<p>2nd half we set off same on the front foot and created a few chances but still not making it count. Webb help was getting frustrated just chasing the ball around and was limited to long ball into there striker which our bk 3 dealt with easy. Finally we take 1 of our many chances to make it 2-0 after a bit of a scramble in box saun rifled 1 into the bottom corner. A double change came shortly after jonni and aaron who had both worked very hard all game was replaced by parkey and ollie. Think webb helps heads ad gone they new they wasnt winning this game due to the way we was playing and they can thank our poor finishing itwasnt more as we wasted a few more chances. Jake replaced saun and jack replaced rougvie in our final changes. Ollie had the final word via a deflection to make it 3-0.

<p>Overall was a class performance with sum eye catching performances. On to next week V joker in round 1.
