With a few more quitters and a few more out injured the squad was down to 13 players With me arriving bk late from a weekend away it was left down to my trusted assistant to sort the squad out. He opted to stay with our usual 352, With housley out injured Ian took his place in goal with dosh phil and wayne the bk 3 jake n conlon was the wingbks with sean jonty n salty the midfield 3 left parkey n coulthard uptop. rougvie n joni was the 2 subs.

Plough set off faster and was looking dangerous 1st 5 mins but we soon got to grips with the game and was playing some good football, But plough took the lead from a long ball upto there striker who got himself a yard and finished well into the bottom left corner. Our response was excellent and we pinned plough bk for long periods and eventually we got our reward a great cross in from culthard to back post were parkey headed bk across goal were jake was running onto to head home a great team move. Ian made good goal saving save when he rushed out there strikers feet and held onto the ball well. With 10 mins to go to ht plough lad should have been sent off for his 2 footed lundge into badgers face which the ref only deemed it a yellow shocking decision. And to rub salt into the wound the lad that should have seen red puts the visitors bk in front with a good header bk across the goal given our stand in keeper no chance.

2nd half a half time change by ttc saw rougvie replace conlon on the right wing, the game was a bit hectic and end to end with both teams really going at it but no team able to find a net. A bad injury to badger 10 mins in saw jonni come on in number 10 role salty go uptop and parkey drop into bk 3. And we didnt after wait long after jonnis arrival he found himself in loads of space 20 yard out and hit a lovely shot into the bottom corner to bring the game level. Both teams had chances as we was both going out for the win and unfortunetly for us plough headed 1 home from a lovely cross to back stick which was headed home well. We pushed hard for the equaliser and from last kick of game we get a corner we shoved every 1 up including the goalie a great delivery and the ball drops to dosh on penalty spot who hit well only to see it bounce off the post and out for a goal kick.

Overall a gutsy performance and something you defo deserved something out of enjoy your christmas break were down to 16 players now so hopefully the injuries will sort them selfs out for when we resume in the new year. We will ba back training 7pm wednesday 4th of jan herringthorpe fields.
