Away league match

Going into this midweek final league game of the season we had 13 players plus myself available. We changed our formation to 442 and drew out of hat for the possisions.

So concluding the draw we lined up jamie in a goal a bk 4 of brunyee sean parkey and dosh conlon n matty hit the wings with ian and reynolds the centre mid partnership. Left myself and squires uptop. Rougvie ryan and wayne made up the bench.

We set off well and passed the ball round well and should have took the lead from a good move down the right were conlon picked me out slightly behind me and i couldnt direct header on target. We kept on pressing and this time same move down the right and this time i manage to get on to ball and guide it underneath the diving keeper to put us in a deserved lead. Pewter pot came into the game a bit more after this and it became quite a equal contest but we was still creating some good chances which the pot keeper was equal to and kept them in the game. Rolling subs was in use for us and the 3 lads was all on. pot finished the half stronger and equalised just b4 ht from a decent strike 18 yards out which found the bottom corner.

2nd half was very equal in possession but with us creating the better chances from our possession but we wasnt able to take 1 matty came clothes only to have his effort cleared off the line and saun blazed a good chance over the bar. It looked like it was pittering out to be a draw b4 it all exploded in the last 5 mins were pewter on the counter could have nicked the points there lad struck it well to bottom corner but a great save from housley kept them out then on the break from us we get it out wide to wayne who travels well down line b4 delevering a great ball in that caused confusion in the pot defence and parkey was left with the easiest of finishes to make it game set and match.

Well done all enjoyed the banter and laugh and winning the game made it better ! #cupfocusnow
