On my return back to the job i didnt really want to change much after last weeks performance and after speaking with al we agreed to stick with the 4231. There was 2 changes to last weeks side as we lined up nick in goal a bk 4 of medlock ian dosh n wayne, Reynolds n gaz was the holding 2 with jonni jonty n john the midfield attacking 3 with pip leading the line. We had a strong bench of brunyee ryan andy alex and hammon.
On losing the toss we kicked down the hill 1st half. We set off slow and pot was on top 1st 15 mins but didnt really create anything We had a few moments but nothing clear our passing and 2nd ball winning was poor all over the park in the 1st half and we was quite fortunate to go into the break with the scores level at 0-0.
2nd half again 1st 10 mins we wasnt at the races and pot took the lead through a really scrappy goal but we couldnt complain been behind. 1ST changes came and it was a double change and a change of formation too. ryan n brunyee replaced medlock and rougvie and we was now in a more attacking 352. And that seemed to lift us a bit and have more control of the game Hammon replaced gareth for the last 20. We was pushing for the equalizer and had a few near moments from free kicks and long throws but we couldnt get that break through. with time running going into the last 10 alex made is ttc debut replacing jonni as wing bk. Finally the break through came from a reynolds long throw wayne flicked it on and a deflection off a pot lad saw it go into bk off net with about 4 mins left. We had a chance to win it when the ball dropped to jonty 18 yards out he stroke it lovely and it was sailing into top corner only for there keeper to pull it out of top corner.
overall was a poor performance but we showed alot of grit and determination to get summert out of the game in end so well done for that boys.
on a side note we need to get bk to getting there on time upto pitch switched on and warmed up properly as this morning b4 ko was a shambles.
