Away Day Blues For Ttc

<p>Going into our final away game of 2015 it was always going to be a tricky 1 against league favourites fitzwilliam arms with the injury table as big as ever. The situation came worse as we had 1 pull out at 9am followed by 3 no shows.

<p>So we had 13 players available which included 2 keepers. Luckily dukey came and got kitted up and also alan got changed to give us 15 players. So we lined up 451 with housley in goal in place of nick who sacrifised is position for the team to be an outfield sub. Conlon stepped in at rb with jack continuing at left bk phil badger came across from rb to centre half to partner dosh. Matty and wayne took to the wings with jonty sean n jake make up the cm Jonni lead line. The bench was made up of nick alan dukey and parkey who also made the effort to turn up.

<p>1st half fitz came out quick and put us under pressure from the off we coped well till after 15 minutes when a cross came bk off the bar and fell kindley to there striker 4 yards out. We had a couple of good moments after that with a few corners and a few half decent attempts but couldnt find the equalizer. Then another spawny goal from fitz a shot from 30 yards out which should have been closed down quicker takes a big deflection and housley manages to get fingers to it but just wasnt enoughto keep it out and it went in off inside of the post. Fitz had 1 big chance to go in at the break 3-0 when there lad was put through but housley was equal to it.

<p>Ht change came when nick ended up having to go in net anyway after injury to housley's wrist. We set off well and played sum good stuff then we suffered another set bk with injury as jonty as too come off with a heavy knock to ankle. So it was a double change on came dukey to replace the injured jonty and parkey came on to replace jonni. We continued on front foot and finally got our reward after sum good work from jake who played a lovely ball in to parkey who rounded the keeper and tucked it home well. Fitz was always dangerous on the break and they nearly went 3-1 up but for a remarkable tripple save by nick to keep us in the game. As we pressed for the equaliser space was opening up for a counter and with 15 to go from down the right side there lad puts in a superb cross were unfortunately dosh fires into his own net think that knowcked stuffin out of us although we didnt give up then another injury after a collision with his own player blocking one of theres jack comes out worse off with a knee injury so on come alan for last 10 mins. A mistake by the stand in rb conlon in the last minute of the game gave fitz there 4th and finshed the game off.

<p>Overall for lads there today i thought u all put a shift in and with a bit of luck result could have been different.
