<p>Going into this game yet again the manager found himself with only 13 players available. And that included 1 player carrying a injury. We lined up in a 4141 formation, with housley in goal a bk 4 of ian brunyee dosh jack, dukey was holding with sean and jonty box to box. wayne n jonni hit the wings with parkey leading the line. Young donnelly and salty was the option from the bench.&nbsp;<p>We set off very well and was very good with the ball in the opening 20 mins with afp using alot of long ball to there fast forwards as there only outlet, which our defense coped very well with. We rewarded our good play with the opening goal when wayne got half a yard from an accute angle smashed the ball into the roof of the net. Next 5 mins we stepped up the tempo and had a couple of free kicks and corners and long throws but couldnt make it count to doun=ble our lead.<p>Half time the message was clear keep our shape keep passing the ball and be brave (or as dosh said short 15 min games :) )<p>We expected afp to step it up a little in chase of n equalizer and thats exactly what we got. However we had a great chance to double our lead with parkey who just headed wide from 10 yard out. &nbsp;1st change came off came jack to be replaced by salty on the left with wayne dropping to left bk. They was unfortunate not to level the scores when they had a goal ruled out wrongly for a little hole in the net that the ref thought it had gone through but after recent months we deserved a bit of luck. Afp kept on coming forward and eventually they got the equalizer a bit fortunate from a long range strike the balls bounced off housley and landed to there striker who couldnt miss. Young sean replaced jonni for the last 10 mins. Both teams went for the win in the closing stages both having half chances but nothing clear and in the end a draw was probably a fare result.<p>Overall a quality 1st half with some very good football on a very bad surface. Every 1 worked hard to get summert out of the game so well done for that. However its not good turning up with 12/13 players every week we really need to try and get every 1 there for last push of season with still a good chance in Association cup to come. utc.
