going into this semi final v afp we had 16 players available we lined up in our usual 4231 formation with jamie in goal a bk 4 of ian ryan dosh n wayne. hammon was holding with sean just in a free roll around him. joni jake n brunyee was the midfield attacking 3 with parkey leading the line. A decent bench of squires matty jonty rougvie n jack.

We set off very nervy and gave them far too much space n time on the ball 1st 10 mins but they didnt create out and we finally came into the game an moved the ball round well. Dissapointed with the 1st goal we conceded from a long throw playing on our pitch all season we shud be able to deal with that. Was very pleased with our response we had a good spell in the game and with probably the best move all game from both sides from bk to front with sum neat passing sean was unlucky he couldnt finish off the move. A few bk to bk corners as well which we failed to capitalize on. Then the game changer around the half our mark We was sloppy in possession and lost the ball around 30 yards out some quick passing from afp had there lad through on goal a last ditch attempt by dosh to stop him failed and he caught him penalty and straight red. Afp put the pen away to make it 2 nil jamie was unlucky as he went right way just power beat him. We kept our shape well and battled hard for remainder of the half and came in 2-0 down.

2nd half afp was really direct and was awarded a pen wen there lad was through and jamie came out and there lad jumped over him and fell from were we was stood looked very harsh there lad tucked it away well. rougvie replaced jake on the hour mark to try give us sum pace on the wing and a outball but from then on it was bks against the wall and we was getting tired chasing around the field afp added another to make it 4-0 A tripple change came squires jack matty replaced joni wayne n ian. bad start from squires as his short back pass gifted afp a 5th they added a 6th n 7th in last 10 mins rougvie hit the bar for us in our attempt to get a consolation goal.

overall was a decent 1st half going down to 10 men killed us really and 2nd half we was sloppy and lost our shape but tiredness took its toll.

We have to learn to stick together win lose r draw guys team spirit is key and always will be. We still have the association cup to go far which was our main target after cup draws heads up blow this 1 off and we go again.........
