2 Wins In A Week As Club Progress Into Round 2.

<p>With no fewer than 9 players missing today :/ The depth of the squad was really asked questions. With only 12 regulars available karl sean kyle and al was drafted in to make the 16 man squad up. A few discussions with my staff regarding formation due to lack of players available still resulted in us sticking to what we have been playing 3-5-2.

<p>Passing an early morning fitness test Jamie was in goal a bk 3 of ian phil n jack, rougvie n wayne was the attacking wing backs with sean n jonty the midfield 2 jonni played in the whole with a free role and parkey n coulthard was our front 2. Left a 4 man bench of callum karl allan n kyle.

<p>We set off well and on the front foot and created some early chances b4 been undone by a mistake from jamie who failed to keep hold of a long ball dropping it to there striker who finished well lobbing ball over our 2 defenders running bk. Our response was impresive and within 5/10 mins we was bk level with a wonderful curling effort into top corner from parkey giving there keeper no chance. Wasnt long b4 we was in the lead a great cross from wayne to parkey who made no mistake with a great header 2-1. Maggies was working hard but our football and movement at times was just too good for them to cope with and we was rewarding from a corner were sean headed home another from a quality delivery from wayne to give us a 3-1 lead going into the break.

<p>2nd half was a good controlled performance we still created a fare few chances and at times should have done better with that final choice of pass and quicker hopefully that will come as season goes on. Mggies outlet was long to big lad uptop which phil marshalled well and took a few cuts in doing so backed up well by ian n jack. 1st change came on 70th minute callum replaced parkey and dropped into midfield with jonni going uptop. A double change 5 mins later saw jack n rougvie replaced by alan n kyle. A good team move assisted by callum and acrobaticly finished by coulthard put the game to bed with 10 mins left. 4th n final change for us off came sean to be replaced by a lad making his 1st appearance for over 2 years was karl. We could have added another goal or 2 in last 10 mins but overall a satisfactory morning work done and our place in round 2 booked.
