Match Report - HALIFAX HAMMERS RESERVES - 19 Nov 2017

It was a cold sunny Sunday morning at home against the notorious Halifax Hammers. Before the game they're was already an edge in the air, then out of the blue we find out the reff had blobbed, the brave Marcus Williams agreed to ref the first half with there guy in second.

The whistle blows and we are off. Hammers were shaky from the word go with the mighty snakes putting immediate pressure on. Before the game had even started the wizzard robbo was already pissing their number 12 off with his silky skills...then in the 16th minute robbo chips in a beauty of a ball and BOOM the old man hembers had a header.

Yet again gibbys presence and robbos skills were causing them a world of problem's. Then out of nowhere robbo tore their number 12 a new one and Lucy was there to finish. 2-0 TO THE SNAKES!

Hammers looked lacklustre and really weren't creating anything until yet another defensive mistake and a penalty was awarded 2-1!

The snakes yet again were dominating... then a hoof from the ginger viking at the back went straight through to the lethal gibby and BANG 3-1. The whistle was then blown by Marcus Williams who had a very good half and it was there guy who took over.

In the 50th minute it was another goal from gibby he was running rings around them boys, they didn't know where they were 4-1. The game was comfortable but it wouldn't be the snakes if we didn't let them back into it, a mix up between carts and ash and it's 4-2 they had a lifeline! BOOM another great ball through to the snakiest snake with a sleek finish 5-2. Coatsy had a decision to make in the 64th minute and after much deliberation brought on the big brick shit house up front which was henshaw and the lively dale came off.

Then in the 68th after many dubious decisions by their ref they were given a free kick... it looked like an easy save but it was a stanger clanger! 5-3!

At 5-3 they're ref was seriously doing everything to get them into the game!!!

Josh and Dawson were brought on in the 80th with Dawsons job being to calm the game down!

This game was seriously turning into a joke and it was getting tasty with one lad telling gibby to go back to school (gimp) then after three retakes of a free kick and after 18 extra minutes added time all hell broke loose! The referee was seriously swinging for the ginger viking at the back! That turned out to be the last piece of action! THE MIGHTY SNAKES GO ON AFTER A BANGING 3-1 WIN! SNAKES! SNAKES! SNAKES!
