It was a sunny and great day for thrum hall...

The jäger was flowing and the ginger were hiding (most of the team)

As Kick off took place against a much stronger team of feathers fc it was the mighty thrum hall fc snakes who started better with 2 goals in 5 minutes from David sudhall who scored an average 25 yard screamer in the bottom corner that left the keeper stranded which was quickly followed by a fantastic run from Jamie Casey beating 3 men down the line to place a square ball across to Jonathon giraffe Gibson to fire home from 5 yards

A fantastic start for Thrum Hall against a team who were expecting much less of us however this 2 goal lead was shortly lived as feathers pulled a goal back after 9 mins after a pin point cross was poked in past Rick clanger in the Thrum Hall goal.

The game then became a exciting to watch end to end with both teams showing great attacking ability and then matching it with defensive power (exception of Carl kartridge)

Although it was Thrum Hall who had the break before half time as a long ball over the top from Callum Brucey bounced over the keepers head and again it was Gibson to fire home from 5 yards into an open goal..... this was the scores on the doors at half time as Thrum Hall went off with smiles and heads held high after a fantastic performance from

Them.

As the second half kicked off it was quickly shown how the substitutions of captain ogden and Thrum Halls own Tim Cahill (Jesse malseed) for the clubs silver fox in the box Andy hembleys and new signing Maverick Turner changed the game with a change of formation aswell Feathers fc showed there class as they fired 4 goals home in under 10 mins in the second half making it 5-3 and yet again it was the infamous stanger clanger striking again as he channeled his inner harambe and began to swing from the crossbar as the ball flew past him into the top corner.....

As the game carried on it was clear Thrum Halls heads were starting to drop that was until david sudhall Thrum Halls very own Lionel messi scored his second of the day in the 62nd minute to give thrum hall a fighting chance of taking something from a much greater opposition however it was very short lived as Feathers fc scored another 2 quick fire goals in the 68th minute to silence the Thrum Hall supporters (special shout out to Tom Henshaw and his daughter for the suncream the gingers of the team love you)

It was then Callum Bruce who again tried his luck from 35 yards out only to be denied by a great save from the keeper.

To finish off Thrum Halls goal scorers it was again David sudhall who completed his hat trick which was assisted by his aggressive sexual lover Andy Hembleys.

This finished off the goal scoring and events for the game as Thrum Hall left feeling downhearted as they played the much better football at times and can hold there heads high as the season edges closer it is looking more and more hopeful for the new kids on the block
